We are currently looking for a Concrete Superintendent to work at our Fort Myers location.

The Concrete Superintendent will be responsible for:

• Training and Supervising the Foreman
• Performing tasks involving physical labor on commercial sealcoat, crack-fill, patching/paving and striping projects. Executing profitable sealcoating, crack fill and striping projects. Manual Labor will be required.
• Operating small equipment such as skid steer, backhoe, power trowel, etc.
• Using hand tools: ability to shovel, rake and handle other small tools.
• Equipment cleanup and maintenance
• Inventory Organization.
• Assisting in the placement, moving and dismantling of signs, barricades, cones and other traffic control devices.
• Lead and assist crew members to make sure a clean job site is always maintained, tools and equipment are properly used/maintained and accounted for, projects are executed to company standards while ensuring high-quality standards.
• Complete all required paperwork to properly track daily production and crew accountability. Problem solve and correct issues/problems as they occur.
• Organize and coordinate the daily activities of all crew members, equipment and utilize corrective action to keep the project on time and within budget.
• Overseeing the execution of the work, including quality and production, ensuring that the crew works to job specifications and follows the plans.
• Monitor and perform daily site inspections to ensure the project is being constructed as designed.

The Concrete Superintendent will have to provide a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures as well as follow OSHA regulations.
Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Concrete (sidewalks, driveways, curbing)
• At least 3 years of experience leading a crew
• Valid Driver’s License (Class A CDL is a plus)
• Clean Driving Record
• Ability to lift 60 pounds
• Must be able to measure, layout, and perform striping projects
• Must be able to run seal coat projects, spray seal coat and operate all equipment involved with seal coating
• Must be able to patch and operate all equipment involved with patching to include skid steer, roller, tack wagon, backhoe exc.
• Bilingual is helpful but not required.

We are currently looking for an Account Manager with experience in Construction or Facilities Management for our Cocoa and Sunrise offices. The Account Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining profitable relationships with customers on behalf of Atlantic Southern Paving and Sealcoating (ASP) and for actively prospecting for new accounts and maximizing sales potential with existing customers.

The Account Manager will be responsible for:

• Develop, expand and cultivate a client base by utilizing various marketing practices, including entertainment, referrals, advertising, trade shows, cold calls, warm leads, and other activities.
• Primary external representative for ASP; must convey a sense of expertise in our services and capabilities as you serve as a key educator to our accounts.
• Estimate Jobs and Prepare Proposals with a price within ASP Policy.
• Develop, submit, implement, manage, and report on sales goals and business development plan in accordance with ASP policies and systems.
• Accountable for meeting the monthly, quarterly and annual revenue and sales goals of ASP; responsible for supporting the company vision and mission.
• Solicit and establish customer’s needs (from any marketing avenue).
• Submit estimates to management for approval with notes and pictures.
• Continually keep Customer Relationship Management Software updated.
• Set up jobs in the job book and timberline once PO received.
• Update Work Orders for production.
• Work with the permitting department and assist in obtaining permits.
• Mark repairs on jobsite.
• Respond and investigate to customers concerns in an appropriate and timely matter.
• Follow up with customers on satisfaction of work completed.
• Invoice Customers and work with Collection Team if need be.
• Follow up on leads
• Work on tradeshows, take customers to lunch and networking events and ask for referrals.
• Make sales at the customer’s place of business.

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of work experience in outside sales, specifically B2B Sales.
• 2-3 years of sales experience in the paving industry.
• Previous experience performing cold calls and in-person prospect.
• Experience in Construction sales is a plus.

Atlantic Southern Paving is seeking a National Project Manager to oversee projects Paving Projects throughout the United States. the position is to work remotely and travel within the US.

The position is part-time and temporary 4-5 months)

The National PM will be responsible for observing daily activities, communicating with the store and subcontractor regarding schedule and to help with Quality Control throughout the project.

Daily Activities

• Willing to travel anywhere inside the United States
• Must be willing to work flexible hours
• Daily reporting including pictures
• Monitoring the contractors performance each day and checking quality of work
• Checking asphalt temperatures and asphalt densities daily
• Must be able to email using smartphone or computer
• Communication with the store manager and contractor
• Report Daily to Atlantic Southern Account Manager
• Help maintain MOT
• Analyze plans and specifications
• Excellent communication skills
• Maintain safe work environment for contractor, store employees and customers
• Physical requirements include: moving barricades and cones, blocking off areas with caution tape, walking site and measuring areas

Qualifications:

• Knowledge in paving and concrete work
• Min 4 years of experience in the paving industry
• Project Management Experience
• Experience working in a group environment
• Clean driving record
• Valid Drivers License

Asphalt Laborers assist in the pouring, smoothing, and setting of asphalt on roads, pathways, and parking lots. Class A CDL and experience operating a skid steer, paver, and/or roller preferred.

The Asphalt Laborer’s responsibilities will include:

• Distribute, break down, compress and give a finished surface to cooling asphalt
• Be prompt and timely for all assigned shifts
• Maintain a clean job site; pick up tools and equipment and secure job site each day in order to eliminate potential hazards.
• Properly block off, Clean, and prep parking lots for Crack-seal, Sealcoat, Patching and Striping projects.
• Clean trucks and equipment daily.
• Ensure all tools are organized and accounted for daily

• Ability to use heavy equipment
• Proficiency in driving commercial vehicles
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience required

• Assist construction/paving crew with various duties such as; shoveling and raking, running wheelbarrow, safely backing/dumping trucks into paver.
• Signal operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment, movement, and materials with shovel.
• Follow the direction of Foreman as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific project or job site.
• May be called upon to run small power tools such as jackhammer.
• Digs, spreads, and levels construction materials.
• Lifts, carries and holds material, tools, and supplies.
• Assists in the placement, moving and dismantling of signs, barricades, cones and other traffic control devices.
• Regular and predictable attendance at assigned times is required.
• Perform general construction labor to include job site clean-up and moving of materials by hand

• Operating motorized equipment including power tools, saws, hammers, nails, and bolts.
• Work requires alert individuals with good balance and physical strength.

• Working during inclement weather, could be exposed to extreme cold and heat, noise and dust from construction operations depending upon project site.

Complete all required paperwork to properly track daily production and crew accountability. Problem solve and correct issues/problems as they occur
