How many handicapped parking spaces are there in my parking lot?

Although there is no minimum number of handicap parking spaces required for a parking lot there must be at least twenty-five spaces. State and local regulations require that there be one van-accessible space for handicap parking. You must have one van handicap-accessible and one regular handicap space for every twenty-five to fifty parking spaces. If you have more than fifty parking spaces, you must provide customers with a sufficient number of handicap parking spaces to meet the ADA (The Americans with Disabilities Act).
